What MenaDB is
MenaDB is a reference database of organisations, funds, events and rules across the Arabic-speaking world, plus Turkey and Iran.
We list by what an organisation does, not by who owns it.
What we do not list
- Gambling and betting
- Alcohol-led venues and brands
- Adult content
- Concerts and music festivals
- Interest-based lending products
Everything else in scope
Everything else in scope is listed. Each record is labelled with how far we have checked it (its tier) and where it comes from. The About page explains the tiers. We do not promise the database is complete, and a sector with few records says so on its page.
